In her first semester, everything fell apart when she was involved in a car accident as a passenger. Waking up in the hospital completely paralyzed from the waist down, doctors predicted that she would never walk again. Despite severe blood loss, a crushed spine, and a severed spinal cord, she made a resolute decision to reclaim her life. Determined to overcome the odds, she embarked on a journey to regain mobility and rebuild her future.
After years of intense physical therapy that very few can endure, she was able not only to walk again, but to graduate in 3.5 years Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland with dual degrees in Finance and International Business. She was also accepted into the internship program with the United States Chamber of Commerce and was hired by American Express Financial Advisors under their exclusive program.
Her academic achievements did little to ease what followed her injury. Muscle loss, nerve damage, the inability to walk without a pronounced limp, and loss of sensation from the waist down fundamentally changed how she experienced her body and herself. Beyond the physical limitations, the emotional impact cut deepest. She no longer felt like a young woman or a teenager. Insecurities she had never known before surfaced, leaving her questioning who she was without the body she once trusted—no longer able to run, dance, or compete in sports.
In an effort to reclaim some of her feminine confidence and face those insecurities, life presented Natalia with an unexpected opportunity: the Hawaiian Tropic International competition. Competing against more than 200,000 women worldwide, she earned First Runner-Up globally. The moment did more than place her on a stage—it marked the first time since her injury that she felt seen again, reminding her that she was still capable, still visible, and still powerful as a woman. At the time, she had no idea that this experience would open the door to an international modeling career—one she had never planned for and never imagined as part of her path.
At the same time, the future she had originally envisioned was no longer available. Natalia had planned to build a corporate career in finance in the United States, aligned with her education and ambitions, but work visas in the finance field were not attainable, regardless of qualifications. She had been expected to return to Europe and join her father’s family office, continuing a path already established for her. Yet surviving the accident and enduring recovery had reshaped how she understood life. Having come face to face with its fragility, she felt a responsibility to live more fully and intentionally—to grow beyond expectation and into purpose.
What began as an unexpected opening evolved into an international career. Natalia was represented by Elite Models Management, Elite Celebrities, Wilhelmina Models, and Fashion (Italy). She appeared on multiple international magazine covers and in global publications including Playboy, Maxim, FHM, Health, and other titles across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Her work expanded naturally into film and television. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Natalia appeared in feature films including Swordfish, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, and Boat Trip, as well as television series such as Baywatch, Cannonball Run, and Wall Street Warriors. This chapter of her life ultimately led to U.S. permanent residency and eventual citizenship, allowing her to remain in the country where she would continue to grow, contribute, and serve.
From this period emerged the foundation of what would later become the True Goddess philosophy—a belief that womanhood, worth, and power are not defined by physical perfection, circumstance, or roles imposed by others or society, but by remaining true to who you are and having the courage to rise, adapt, and pursue your dreams regardless of limitations placed upon you.
Today, Natalia’s journey continues through entrepreneurship and leadership across multiple industries. She is the Co-Founder of SGG World, the parent company of Verda Family Office (SFO), where she oversees global family investments and long-term strategic initiatives. She also serves as President and COO of Cytta Corp (OTCQB: CYCA), a technology company focused on operational intelligence and autonomy, integrating and commercializing real-time streaming, communication, collaboration, and UAV technologies across defense and commercial sectors.
At the core of Natalia’s mission is her TrueWealth™ philosophy—the belief that while financial success and personal ambition matter, true wealth is created through alignment of purpose, resilience, fulfillment, and contribution. This philosophy is further explored in her book, Unbreakable: Guide to TrueWealth™ and a Fulfilled Life. Together with the True Goddess™ vision, this work reflects her commitment to empowering others—especially women—to believe in themselves, trust their inner power, and pursue their dreams regardless of limitations imposed by circumstance or society.
Natalia lives in Beverly Hills with her two sons, balancing leadership across her ventures with motherhood. Her life and work are guided by a deep belief in personal strength, self-trust, and the power of choosing courage over fear.
